Relationships are a central source of strength, but when communication breaks down, the tension can spill into every part of life. In couples counseling, I create a calm, neutral space where each partner feels heard, respected, and understood.
Together, you and your partner learn to speak honestly without attacking, listen without shutting down, and recognize long-standing patterns that keep the same conflicts repeating. I help you slow conversations down, translate hurt into clear requests, and rebuild emotional safety so you can tackle problems as a team.
Sessions may focus on rebuilding trust after betrayal, navigating parenting stress, balancing cultural or faith differences, or simply finding your way back to friendship and intimacy. I also pay attention to how mood, anxiety, trauma, or ADHD may be affecting the relationship, and can coordinate with individual therapy or medication management if needed.
My goal is not to "take sides," but to help both of you feel more connected, supported, and equipped to create the kind of relationship you want to come home to.
